It has been awhile since I posted on here. What can I say – time has gotten away from me.
I got a new job teaching at social media strategy at a local business college.
I picked up some more freelance work.
Now it is summer. And anyone who stays home/works out of the home with little kids home on summer break, getting stuff done is not easy.
So I thought I would share some of my most favorite posts with you as a way to pick up where I left off.
I am super proud of my posts that I have done with The Mother Company. I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Michael Thompson about boys and emotional intelligence. I also shared my own story about raising my son so that he has a healthy awareness of his feelings.
I also was able to interview Dr. Susan Newman about multi-generational living. This also touched a personal note with me since I experienced multi-generational living first hand while we waited to close on our house.
On another note, for Detroit News MichMoms blog, I wrote a post about my thoughts on having another baby. It is a post filled with more questions than answers.
I think this pretty much brings your up to speed on what has been going on.
So for this week, I wrote a post about being a golf widow for the Detroit News MichMoms blog. Summer is not easy with the kids being home all day, but add a slew of golf outings and those long summer days turn into an eternity.
This week’s Mommy on the Spot blog post talks about my mommy guilt and my part-time job. I feel like a traitor when something other than my kids makes me happy. Crazy, I know.
Enough about me – do you have any blog posts that you could share?
