This week was all about food and giving myself a pat on the back for a job well done.
This week, I wrote about the Macy’s Culinary Council Chef Takashi Yagihashi Cooking Demo at Macy’s located in the Somerset location in Troy, Michigan. It sounded like a fabulous and delicious event, and I was totally bummed I couldn’t make it due to a scheduling conflict.
On a related note, in addition to recovering from the holiday chaos, I’ve been holding down the fort while my husband’s work schedule has been amped up this week and grieving the loss of a family member while I manage my blog and teach. I decided to write a little note of appreciation to myself called Thanks. Signed, The Management: Holiday Edition/New Job. Sometimes all those “little” things I do all day long to keep the household going go unnoticed, even by me. I just needed a little extra pat on the back.
